Terre Alte: Italiens tredje bedste hvidvin

Livio Fellugas Terre Alte fik en flot tredjeplads i Gambero Rossos klassifikation af de seneste 20 år bedste italienske hvidvine. Ranglisten er at læse i apriludgaven af det førende vinmagasin for italienske vine, og er på baggrund af 20 års tålmodig smagning af vine til Gambero Rossos vinguide Vini d’Italia.

Vinen fik følgende ord med på vejen:

”... Terre Alte exists since 1980 and we've been evaluating it since 1986. Over the years it has won a boatload of prizes and some vintages have been mythical - '90, '92, '96, '99, furthermore '01, '02 and '04...
It's a blend of Sauvignon, Tocai and Pinot Bianco; almost a conversation between the varietals that take turns influencing the wine on the basis of the vintage... The vineyards are in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in the calcareous and "ponca" soils of Oleis and Rosazzo, which have been blessed by the God's of wine... ”
