I glasset møder du en strålende gylden farve og en dyb bouquet af honning, abrikos, kandiseret citrus, eksotiske frugter og en florlet mineralitet. Smagen er rig, koncentreret og cremet, men samtidig holdt i perfekt balance af den levende Mosel-syre. Eftersmagen er uendeligt lang med lag på lag af sødmefuld frugt og finesse.

The 2023 Riesling Bernkasteler Badstube Auslese Goldkapsel features a touch of mango on the nose, leading into vivid peach compote. The palate tempers this with citrus, a hint of candied angelica and a gorgeous frisson of pepper. Sweet yet utterly balanced and deliciously tart.

The 2023 Bernkasteler Badstube Auslese (Gold Capsule) opens with an intense and spicy, botrytized fruit aroma intertwined with fine noble rot aromas. Rich and generous yet also refined and elegant on the palate, this is a stimulating, saline yet mouth-filling and lovely sweet and round Auslese made to be aged for at least a decade and to be served with wild boar in 30 years. The savory acidity is fabulous and vibrantly fresh and gives this wine immense aging capacity. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP 13 24 in January 2025.

Intensely concentrated and complex, with a tropical edge to the sumptuous palate, which offers juicy guava, mango and apricot layered with salty mineral and pink peppercorn notes. Mouthwatering acidity offsets the sweet richness, and a bitter phenolic kick on the finish contributes to the fresh, balanced feel. Long and truly heavenly. Drink now through 2036. 60 cases imported.
