Kæmpevin fra Gevrey-Chambertin - et mesterværk fra Taupenot-Merme.
Fra en 0.4 ha. stor parcel i 1. Cru marken Bel Air med 35-45 år gamle vinstokke med lavt udbytte. Vinen tilbringer 14 måneder på egetræsfade, heraf 30% nye. Blomstret og indbydende suser vinen op fra glasset med supplerende noter af lyse kirsebær, hindbærkompot, skovbund og tranebær. Silkeblød og med stor frugt smyger vinen sig over tungen med en eminent harmoni og struktur. Bragende vellykket er dette stor, stor vin fra Taupenot-Merme.
Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy - 91-94
Some depth of ruby-crimson colour. Very classy fruit, immediately apparent, red berries, but stylish and with some depth. More tannins at the finish, but the sense of tensile strength remains. Just nicely ripe in its pure red fruit purity. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted Nov 2025.

The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel Air 1er Cru is Taupenot-Merme's best wine this vintage. It has a very floral and expressive bouquet with pure strawberry and cranberry fruit, beautifully defined and demonstrating the most vigour. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, just a touch of white pepper and spice, cohesive and quite prolonged on the finish. This is an excellent Gevrey Premier Cru and a great success.
