Full and fleshy, gorgeous intensity and power straight away with the most juicy, plush tannins that fill the mouth creating a bounce and chew that is delicious yet this also keeps focus and push from start to finish. Feels well made, sophisticated and full of flavour. I love the texture, tannins are just excellently integrated and the acidity makes this so appealing to drink now but will also enable it to age well. Sumptuous, stylish and sassy. Deep garnet-purple in color, the single-varietal 2020 Muse Cabernet Sauvignon bursts forth with bold notes of crushed blackcurrants and juicy blackberries, followed by hints of cedar, clove oil, and bay leaves plus a waft of crushed rocks. The medium to full-bodied palate has a racy backbone and firm, grainy tannins supporting the intense black fruit layers, finishing with great persistence.

Within this libation, one can perceive the ripened berry fragrance of the Mediterranean climate, the exquisite spicy subtleties of premium oak barrel, and the distinctive herbal essence inherent to 100% matured Cabernet Sauvignon. In contrast to some modern style Chilean wines that follow the Burgundian way, I am more enamored with the self-confidence that Muse exhibits. This wine, to me, embodies the Chilean boutique wine I anticipate – a timeless classic that won’t change by others.
