Les Perrieres-marken ligger tæt på et gammelt stenbrud beliggende på øst–sydøstvendt skråning i Nuits Saints Georges, og Chevillions version fra marken bærer da også et vist mineralske præg.
Her i sin ungdom fremstår vinen frisk med et intenst frugtudtryk, som folder sig ud med luft. Strukturen er allerede på dette tidlige stadie helt mejslet i sten og allerede nu fornemmes vinen rund, silkeblød og harmonisk. Forførende aromaer af kirsebær, hindbær, violer, balsamico og vanilje præger næsen. I munden mærker man vinens solide kerne af frugt, som langsomt præsenterer sig i et fyldigt, koncentreret udtryk, som slutter præcist og langt med markens mineralske undertoner.
En spændende vin at fordybe sig i nu, men absolut en vin, der vinder endnu større kompleksitet og fylde på den lange bane.

The colour offers a huge depth of royal purple. A most impressive bouquet, weight and concentration without heaviness, very stony beneath which helps to leaven the power of the fruit.

The 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières has turned out nicely, delivering aromas of cassis, violets and plums, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple palate framed by powdery tannins that assert themselves on the chalky, mineral finish.

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Perrières 1er Cru was another cuvée that showed some reduction on the nose. Nevertheless, the palate is very promising and a little less opulent than that of the Roncières, with a mix of red and black fruit, a hint of allspice and light savory notes toward the finish. The pH seems a little lower here, resulting in a fresher finish. Give this two or three years once in bottle.
Allan Meadows - Burghound - 91-93
A riper and more deeply pitched nose is composed by notes of poached plum, newly turned earth and a hint of humus character. The beautifully textured and vibrant, if not especially dense, flavors also possess evident minerality on the dusty, mouthcoating and youthfully austere finale. I really like the balance here and this is a wine that should age well.
