Virkelig flot 1. Cru fra selveste Vosne-Romanée. En stor vin, der desværre kun produceres i små mængder.
Den årlige produktion udgør nemlig blot få tusinde flasker, hvilket må siges at være en skam, med tanke på hvor forrygende flot denne vin er. Ikke mindst i 2023-årgangen, som har vist sig at levere utroligt flotte vine i Bourgogne, både hvad angår rød- og hvidvine.
Duften udgøres af vidunderlig kombination af kirsebær, blåbær og tørrede blomster. Kroppen er medium fyldig med smag af skovbær, lakrids og naturligvis de mest silkebløde tanniner i den lange afslutning. En fornem vin, der utvivlsomt vil kunne gemmes mindst 10 år i kælderen fra høståret.

50% new wood is used for the 1er Cru vineyards. Glowing ruby purple with a heavenly perfume like the village but more intense. Darker fruit behind, some wood tannins again, and very good length. One change in vinification at this domaine is no longer to heat the tanks during post-fermentation maceration, thus improving purity and precision.
Vinous - 90-92
The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru has quite an expressive nose, with black cherries, fresh fig and light licorice scents gradually emerging—though its 50% new oak is quite vocal. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, finely balanced with (again) the new oak shaping the mid-palate and finish. There is a good Aux Brûlées here, though you'll have to wait for the oak to be assimilated.
