Les Crestes er yderst vellykket i 2019. Vinen er sammensat af 80% Garnacha og resten Carignan og Syrah fra skifterholdige vinmarker 350-450 meter over havets overflade. Efter en nøjsom selektion, gærer mosten på ståltank inden 8 måneders lagring i 2 år gamle franske egetræsfade. I næsen byder vinen på mørk frugt, blomster, anis, menthol og vilde urter i et potent udtryk, som dog aldrig mister sin friskhed. På paletten er vinen koncentreret og givende i sin mørke kirsebærfrugt, som her i den varme 2019-årgang er eminent kontrolleret. Blød, rund og med lang eftersmag, er dette en fremragende demonstration af Mas Doix's fortolkning af Priorat.

The young and tender red 2019 Les Crestes is an approachable blend of 80% Garnacha and 10% each Cariñena and Syrah. It has ripe black fruit and licorice aromas and is Mediterranean, warm and comforting. It fermented with neutral yeasts in stainless steel and matured in second use French oak barrels for eight months. But the oaking is very light, and the wood feels very integrated, coming through as quite fruit-driven. They produced 40,000 bottles of this wine. It was bottled in July 2020.
