Concerto di Fonterutoli er en ærkeklassisk toscansk rødvin, der første gang blev lanceret tilbage i 1981. I årgang 2022 er Concerto di Fonterutoli en flot og seriøst rødvin med masser af balanceret power og finesse. Vinen er mørk i glasset, med tydelige noter af mørk frugt, tørrede krydderurter, tobak og læder. Den høje andel af Sangiovese-druen sikrer en rank struktur, flot syre og velafstemte og fine tanniner.

The 2022 Concerto di Fonterutoli, 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, is a hugely promising wine. Big fruit and juicy contours lend quite a bit of immediacy. All things considered, Concerto is beautifully done for the vintage. I would give it a few years in bottle, as it needs time to develop more layers of aromatic nuance.
