Lækker og frisk hvidvin - med flot lagringspotentiale
Redoma Branco består af et blend af en række lokale druesorter, der alle kommer fra gamle vinstokke med en alder på 65-85 år. Det giver en enorm koncentration i vinen, der flot spiller sammen med den elegante mineralitet i vinen, som stammer fra den yderst skifferholdige jord, hvor stokkene vokser.
Det giver en flot, fyldig og på alle måder forrygende hvidvin, der har gæret og efterfølgende lagret 8 måneder i 228 samt 500 liters franske egetræsfade. Fadlagringen har således bidraget til at blødgøre vinen, hvilket giver et flot modspil til det mineralske præg.
I duften mødes man af blomstrede noter samt gule stenfrugter og et diskret hint af hasselnødder. Medium fyldig i strukturen med flot syre og en lang, saftig eftersmag. Redoma Branco præsenterer sig som en flot, tør hvidvin med masser af kompleksitet, som uden tvivl vil kunne gemmes i en håndfuld år.

The white 2023 Redoma Branco has a Burgundian profile. They work with vines in the zone of Murça and Porrais on slate and granite soils, with a mixture of varieties. The full clusters were pressed, and the juice fermented in 228- and 500-liter barrels where it matured with the lees for six months. In 2023, the harvest was quite long, aiming at ripeness between 11.5% and 12.5%, and this year the bottled wine finished at 12% alcohol, slightly lower than in 2022. It has clean and expressive aromas of white fruit, flowers, spice and a touch of smoke and a very tasty, harmonious and precise palate. A little lighter and fresher than the 2022, it should age nicely. They produce around 70,000 bottles of this. It was bottled in March-April 2023.

A well-tailored white, with good cut to the layers of melon, persimmon and creamed apple, plus notes of macadamia nut, heather and tangerine peel.
